Ordering Information

• The photo must be in color.
• Senior must be centered in the photo facing the camera, both eyes visible.
• Pose must be a waist-up shot. No hands obstructing the view of their face. No knees blocking the body.
• Student must be sitting or standing. No photos of students lying on the ground.
• No props (animals, hats, sunglasses, cars, sports equipment, musical instruments, or additional people in the photo). No weapons.
• Backgrounds (trees, rocks, columns, etc.) should not block the view of the student in the photo.
• Background must be simple and uncluttered.
• No texture, name stamping, embossing, or date stamp.
• Submit photo in digital format. All photos must print at 300 dpi in resolution and be saved as a TIFF, JPG, or PNG file.

Senior portraits are due December 2, 2024, and can be sent to hsyearbook@csredhawks.org.
Photo files must be named with the senior's legal last name and the legal first name (ex: SmithWilliam.jpg).

If a virtual portrait can not be sent, please talk to Ms. Schultz (Room 302). 

Senior Portrait Requirements Information

Senior Quote: Submit a school-appropriate quote with the source, 100 characters or less.
Extracurriculars/Sports: List all your activities (e.g., Soccer (3), Band (3), Theater (4), NHS (3)). If unsure, include it; we'll decide if it fits.
Deadline: Monday, December 2, 2024, by midnight. Late submissions will not be included in the yearbook.

Senior Quote and Extracurricular Form

The Cedar Springs High School Yearbook staff is now accepting senior recognition ads for the Class of 2025. These ads will appear in a special section of the 2024-2025 yearbook. Space is limited, so submit all elements and payments by noon on Thursday, March 27, 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate your senior’s achievements. • 1/8 page: $50 – Includes one photo and a brief message.
• 1/4 page: $75 – Includes one current photo, 3-4 additional photos, and a message.
• 1/2 page: $125 – Includes one current photo, 4-8 additional photos, and a message.
• Full page: $225 – Includes one current photo, up to 16 additional photos, and a message

The yearbook staff reserves the right to reject photos or text that violates editorial policy or to ask the customer to make changes to their submission.

• Our editors will handle the design, including fonts and photo placement, and you'll have final approval before it goes to print.
• We cannot accept personally designed ads.
• Avoid using photos with significant others, as circumstances can change.
• Consider sharing ad space with family or friends to maximize space and reduce costs.
• The length of your message and the number of photos will depend on the ad size.
• Once you approve the proof, no further changes can be made.

All ad elements can be sent to hsyearbook@csredhawks.org. Checks need to be made out to Cedar Springs High School Yearbook or cash (specify on envelope for yearbook) can be given to the office or Ms. Schultz (Room 302).
