Applications for AP, Dual Enrollment, and Early Middle College at high school and college classroom
  • High School

Cedar Springs High School offers several programs that help students earn college credit while still in high school. These options support student goals, save time, and reduce future college costs.

Advanced Placement (AP) - May 1 and Dec 1 (for the following Semester)
Students take college-level classes and exams. Colleges may award credit based on exam scores.

Dual Enrollment - Application during the course request in February
Students take college courses during high school and earn both high school and college credit.

Early Middle College (EMC) - Application Due Jan. 16
EMC allows students to earn a high school diploma plus up to 60 college credits, an associate degree, a certification, or participate in an apprenticeship—all at no cost to families.

Students can take classes through our partner college GRCC. Families are encouraged to learn more about each option, timelines, and requirements by visiting the Cedar Springs High School College Credit webpage or by scheduling an appointment with their counselor.
