Collin Alvesteffer has been named November Student Athlete of the Month for Football. He is the son of Bob & Kelly Alvesteffer. Collin was an All Conference football player this year and also excels in the classroom with a 3.4 GPA. Coach Kapolka comments: “ Some kids want to win. He absolutely has to win. He is probably the single most competitive person I've ever met. That's what he brings to the table. He is the ultimate competitor.”
Sienna Wight has been named November Student Athlete for Volleyball. She is the daughter of Chad & Shannon Wight. Sienna is a 2 year varsity starter, she has compiled a career 652 assists and a total of 52 blocks, she also earned Team Academic All State in the 2015 season. Sienna excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. Coach Reynolds comments: “Sienna has been instrumental in the success the volleyball team has had the last 2 years. She is a great athlete and leads by example. She pushes herself on the court and in the classroom. Sienna has come along leaps and bounds in the last 2 years and has shown so much dedication to her improvement. Sienna is always looking to improve and willing to take any feedback she can. It has been a pleasure to have her in the volleyball program.”
Karsen Dingman has been named November Student Athlete for Tennis. Karsen is the son of Chris Dingman & Kim Umphrey. Karsen excels both on and off the court, earning All-Conference tennis honors while maintaining a cumulative 3.94 GPA. Coach Unsworth states that "Karsen has done a wonderful job serving as captain of this year's team, and he achieved great success on the court this year. Karsen is a wonderful young man deserving of this honor."
