Senior Josh Beebe has been named January Athlete of the Month for Boy’s Bowling.
He is the son of Joseph and Marilou Beebe. Coach Jackson comments: “Josh has worked on his game over the summer and is averaging a score of 182. His is one of the best bowlers on the boys team. Josh medaled at the Lowell Tournament and has been a contributor towards the teams success this year."
Junior Olivia Esquivil has been named January Athlete of the Month for Competitive Cheer.
She the daughter of Ricardo Esquivil and Ellena Rivas. Coach Olszewski comments: “Olivia is on the varsity team for the first time this year and has increased her skill set and has become one of my best flyers. She has successfully thrown her back handspring this year in our rounds and I am looking for her to only improve and get better and better.”
Junior Omani Morales has been named January Athlete of Month for Girls Bowling.
She is the daughter of Odell and Crystal Morales. Coach Jackson comments: “Omani is a leader for the younger girls on the team and is an awesome student. She has been All-Conference for the past two years. She is also the defending regional singles champion and has been to the state tournament, as part of the team, for two years. Omani has medaled in several tournaments this year and has the highest girls average with a 204 for the year.”
Junior Sage Serbenta has been named January Athlete of the Month for Wrestling.
He is the son of Craig and Deanna Serbenta. Coach Emery comments: “Sage is a team player. He has a season record of 43-1 and is a OK White Conference, District, Regional, Goodrich Tournament and Allendale Invite Champion.”
